Montecito · Santa Barbara
Your home,handled.
Private home care for Montecito and Santa Barbara. Whether you live in your home, are away from it, or rent it out, we look after it and coordinate the people who care for it, so it’s always safe, in order and ready.
Our philosophy
Care is in the follow-through.
We walk your home on a schedule, notice what has changed, handle it through people we know, and send you a short written report. When something needs your decision, you hear from one of us directly.
Attentive
Scheduled visits, and a short written report after every one.
Accountable
One person is responsible for your home and owns each request until it’s finished.
Discreet
We share only what a tradesperson needs to do the job, and nothing more.
How we care for a home
Three kinds of home. One standard.
Whether you live in the house, spend months away from it, or rent it out, one person at Canari is responsible for it.
When you live there
One call for everything the house needs.
- Message us about anything, from a sticking door to a new roof

When you’re away
Someone paying attention while you’re gone.
- Scheduled home checks, with a short report after every visit
- Storm and fire-season readiness, handled before you think of it
- The home opened before you arrive and closed after you leave
- Anything that needs a decision comes to you directly
When you rent it out

- You keep the listing and the guests; we keep the home ready
- Turnovers between stays, with cleaners we know

How we work
A standard we hold ourselves to.
Good service is not a tone of voice. It is a set of habits, kept every time. These are ours.
- We notice before we’re asked.
- Whoever hears about it owns it until it’s done.
- Every visit ends with a report.
- We work for our homeowners, not the other way around.
- We tell you the truth, including when something isn’t our strength.
Beginning
A limited number of homes.
We are a small, local team, and we keep it that way on purpose: every home has one of us responsible for it. We begin with a Readiness Assessment, a walkthrough of your home and a written report, so you can see how we work before deciding anything.
Your portal
Your home, in one private place.
Every member has a private portal for the home. Message us and follow each request from start to finish, read every visit report, keep the home’s documents together, see upcoming visits on your calendar, and review your statements.
Private to you and to us. We never share your information with anyone who doesn’t need it to do the work.
Our community
Santa Barbara is our home too.
We live and work here. We know how canyons, creeks and coastal weather affect a property, and we know the local tradespeople by name. When storms come, the most useful thing we can do is help our neighbors prepare early, whether or not they ever work with us.
Canari Home is the first venture of Canari Group, founded here in Santa Barbara, and it stays small by design.
Community resource
Preparedness is a form of care.
A free storm-readiness guide for Santa Barbara and Montecito homes, with current National Weather Service alerts and links to official county resources.
When you’re ready, we’d be glad to meet.
